1. What Color scheme should I buy?
(a)Color schemes for tents are not just there for the fun of it, they do have meaning! For example going on a hunting trip..well you should buy a tent that blends with your environment. Going on a camping trip or hiking adventure to a remote area?? Maybe you should buy a very bright color then in case of an emergency so searchers and friends could find you alot easier.
2. What size tent do I need?
(a) again this has afew factors you need to think about. The first factor is how many people are in your family or group that are going with you. Tents come in all sizes and you can buy a tent that is great for one person all the way up to 10 people. Also you want to think about where you are going because more people in one tent can be great when everyone is comfortable
3. How important is ease of use?
(a) When it comes to camping, hunting and or hiking and using a tent ease of use is the BIGGEST factor. I would recommend that any purchase you make try out the tent afew times before your trip. This will only help you be more familiar with how the tent works. Most tent manufacturers now make their products quite easy to use and that’s a win-win for everyone!
4. Whats the best materials to look for
(a) There are generally two types of materials you’ll have to decide from when making your purchase. Most tents are made from permeable rip stop nylon or you will also see polyester and or cotton blends as well. The most important factors when discussing materials is water proofing, rip and tear resistant, mildew resistant and fire retardant.
5. How does time of year play into my purchase?
(A) There generally three rating on all tents telling you what tent is good for the time of year you looking for. The three classifications are all-season convertible, 3-season and 4-season. All-season tents are suppose to work well no matter the time of year but they are not best for very harsh winter months yet are great from summer, spring and fall. 3-season tents are made for cold weather and 4-season is made for extreme cold weather.
6. How important is ventilation?
(a) This is huge!! Tents need good ventilation, the more windows and mesh screens that come with your tent the better. Many tents come with zip open pockets, windows and doors that increase ventilation greatly. Mesh is great especially zipped mesh where you can keep bugs out yet get great airflow!

This is a really great tent. It is easy to assemble. Great color. The ceiling is high enough for my 6 foot son to stand up with ease. When shopping for a tent you kind of have to throw the “sleeps X” out the window and go with practical comfort – this tent can hold 3 or 4 people comfortably.

This is absolutely one of the tents best attributes. The Eureka Copper Canyon is a true 15′x12′ tent, as advertised. We had a king size air mattress, two blow-up side tables, a 36″ diameter table (with two big heaters on top), the dog’s sleeping crate and two giant hanging shelf systems and had more than enough room to sleep 3 or 4 additional people. I’ve only had this tent about a month, and we used it for our labor day weekend camping trip. we didn’t practice putting it up before hand, which i was regretting as we didn’t get to our site until dusk and was nervous about setting up a brand new tent that was much more tent than either of us had used before. to our surprise, it went up very quickly and easily. the instructions were very easy to follow and all the parts were easily identifiable and intuitive. The new Coleman Instant tent took me two minutes to put up by myself (I took my time) and when I was done, I just stood there for a few minutes not believing how easy it was!
